Without a Stitch: Emperor's New Clothes is Entertaining

By Marzie Carey December 4, 2016
A wonderful way of spending time together with the family this holiday season is to go see a show. I recently had the opportunity to take my kids to see the performance of The Emperor's New Clothes at Bergen County Players in Oradell, New Jersey. The Emperor's New Clothes is a musical with fun and catchy songs that kids can sing along.

It has 12 scenes with minimal stage props, but the costumes are really creative. The story line is easy to follow and very entertaining for all ages. The Emperor's New Clothes is a little over 1 hour with no intermission.

The performance is excellent and truly enjoyable for the kids. The actors make it fun by interacting with the audience. In Scene 11, the actors walk around the theater in the procession engaging the audience.

The best part is that after the show everyone can go meet the actors downstairs for pictures and autographs.

I highly recommend this delightful show, which runs until December 18, 2016. At $14 a ticket, The Emperor's New Clothes is an affordable opportunity to enjoy great local theater in northern Bergen County.
